Promotions Executive, Nick Taylor has been arranging events since the 1980's. It
was when he was employed by a Building Society as a Liaison Manager, he took on his first
event raising money for the Faulklands Crisis after the sinking of HMS Coventry by the Argentines. Recognised for his efforts
by The Lord Mayor of Coventry, Nick went on to arrange many more events throughout the UK and has supported
many charities including the NSPCC, Children In Need and more recently Help for Heroes.
Nick has appeared on BBC Television and BBC Radio as a result of events and activities he has arranged. Nick with
son Matt have appeared on BBC Radio Lincolnshire and BBC Television Local News Channel, regarding
the success of Lincolnshire MINI Club which received the accolade of being voted 'Best New MINI Owners Club'
by the readers of Modern MINI Magazine. Indeed Modern MINI Magazine have stated that Nick and Matt are;
'....the best father-son combination this side of Anthony and Lewis Hamilton'.
In 2010 original Executive Partners Nick and Matt Taylor invited Karl Shaples to become the
third Executive Partner of Taylor Made Events responsible for the area of logistics and planning.

Noticing a gap in the market, Taylor Made Events organise the ONLY BMW MINI Show in the UK. An accolade
recognised by the Daily Express Newspaper.
After the success of NEW MINI DAY, Taylor Made Events have formalised
the shows place in the MINI world calendar and moved the show to a more central location at Wicksteed Park in Kettering, Northamptonshire.

Although well renowned in the BMW New MINI world, Nick has had a long association with both Jaguar and
Land Rover. Indeed, as a young man, Nick was employed by Solicitors who were representative of Jaguar Cars and had the good
fortune to meet Sir William Lyons the founder of Jaguar Cars. In later years Nick was a regular visitor to the Browns Lane
Plant in Coventry for business purposes.
Passionate about everything automotive and originally a 'Coventry
Kid' which was once the heart of the British Automotive Industry, Nick has a good knowledge about most car brands and
indeed has owned a wide variety including an E500 Mercedes-Benz, E320 Mercedes-Benz, C Class, A Class, Jaguar XK, Jaguar XJ
and Jaguar S-Type, BMW 325 M Sport, three Land Rovers, Lexus, and many more. Nick has also test track driven an Aston
Martin Vantage, DB9 and Subaru WRX. His driving experience extends to Rolls Royce, Audi, the full range of BMW.
Nick has completed six off-road training courses and was the only driver on his course to get a Land Rover Defender across
the full length of parallel beams without the Land Rover falling off.
